The Beginning of the Girls' Evolution

I rarely stay up at night for any purpose. Whether it is to study for a mega exam or to catch a great show on TV. Fringe airs at 11 pm on Mediacorp's Channel 5 and I don't even make the effort to do what any self-proclaimed fan of the series would do. I get eye bags and bloodshots staying up late. Moreover, I need at least 6 to 7 hours of sleep to enable myself to function efficiently throughout the next day. Thus, I am extremely consistent with bedtime.

But, yesterday was a different matter. It was the last day of 2010! Honestly, I did not actually expect myself to stay up to count down to 1st of January. I must be really bored to tears last night. Besides, I wanted to be one of the first to wish everybody a jolly year on Facebook.

Yes, the website was flooded with merry wishes for these couple of days. No wonder it radiated positive energy when I logged into my account this morning!

So... Happy New Year!

Upon the arrival of January, we sure can expect the Spring/Summer Collection from Burberry!

The logo. Does anyone care that this brand was created by Thomas Burberry?

Supposedly a Burberry outlet? What could I say.... MAJESTIC!

Burberry Beauty!

Burberry Prorsum. Another glamorous commercial picture.

Burberry Prorsum again. Currently the picture used on the Facebook page.

Part of the new collection. Which is/are your favorite?

Besides, more can be anticipated during the recent London's Fashion Week!

Game. Set. Party!
Under the luminous spotlight.

Look beyond the model. Who are the VIPs in the background?

The masquerade begins!

It's showtime!!~

 Oops!!! What happened?!

Apparently, a model lost her balance and tumbled over. Her heels could have been the source of the minor tragedy since they don't seem to be giving sufficient support. Besides, the floor looks slippery in the picture. Judging from her facial expression, that must have been painful.

Since its establishment in 1856, Burberry's dominant and glamorous style has won numerous hearts across the globe. We all know that one of the most powerful way for a fashion brand to gain publicity is through celebrities. Because they are the ones who are constantly photographed in public, and the ones under scrutiny of thousands of avid fans. Now, in order to delve into Burberry's popularity amongst Hollywood celebrities, let's be a paparazzi for a while!

Firstly, let's give a round of applause to Sarah Jessica Parker!

The Sex and the City darling was spotted wearing the set of garments during the latest London's Fashion Week. Amazingly, Sarah did not only avoid looking overly act-cute in the mini skirt by teaming it up with a leather jacket. At 40+, she looks fantastic!

The dress in the picture on the left is another piece of Burberry she wore to the fashion brand's presentation at Chelsea College of Art and Design. Chic!

Second. The ever magical Emma Watson!

Emma's brother Alex Watson actually did play a part in this Spring/ Summer 2010 Campaign. Guess where is he hidden? Yes, the one in the picture on the left! See the guy far left? That's him!

Besides, here are some behind the scenes pictures Burberry has posted on its Facebook page.

Third, the ever fashion-eccentric Lady GaGa!

Hmm... I really wonder how Burberry managed to come up with stuffs for GaGa, given her unusual fashion sense.

The picture on your right is the commercial picture of Burberry, featuring the world-dominating songstress. Some say she looks divine in the picture.

Some final pictures...

Toodles!

  3. I love Burberry too! The designs are so simple yet understatedly elegant, plus people of any age look good with it.
But too bad it's so expensive. T_T

  4. I totally agree with you, Laura! The designs aren't as exaggerated as many other fashion brands', but not less chic and glamorous!

    Money factor's important. ;)
