 The classy lady has also come up with her Spring/Summer Collection for 2011, like other fashion labels. To exhibit her latest designs, Alberta Ferretti makes a stunning appearance at the Milan Fashion Week!

How did the model make it throughout the runway without tumbling over? Hmm... that's some point to ponder over.


Basically, this collection is essentially Alberta Ferretti. Flowing and comfortable-looking. Besides, the fabrics appear to be thin from the pictures above. Great amidst the spring breeze and summer heat.

Moreover, this is what happened in the backstage!

Well, I can't deny that those models do look anorexic. The fashion world should cease to torture models this
way.

Yes, it's Emma Watson you're seeing in all three pictures. After witnessing Emma's fashion talent in the actress's fashion line People Tree, Alberta Ferretti approached Emma. Later, it was announced that Emma will co-design a capsule fashion line for Alberta Ferretti, using only organic materials. The fashion line will be debuting early this year.


Aside from Emma, there are many celebrities who have donned Alberta Ferretti's designs in various events.


First, we can expect no other than Christina Aguilera!

Appearing at the Berlin's premiere for the movie Burlesque which the songstress stared in, Christina looks striking in a hot-pink long dress. Elegant with a tinge of wildness- typically Christina Aguilera.

Second, Emmy Rossum!

Remember this girl, the big-voiced soprano who played the role of Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera? I love the blue of her dress!

Third, Nicole Richie!

The notorious partying starlet appears rather classy in a grey Alberta Ferretti dress. Judging from the background in the first picture... was she attending the same event with Emmy Rossum at the same time?

YES!!!

Fourth, Vanessa Hudgens!

 The High School Musical starlet looks like a mermaid on the red carpet in her dress at the Golden Globe Awards. As usual, she had to be photographed clinging to her guy's arm (left picture).

Don't fret- it's really Zac Efron, although his hair's different.












Fifth, Angeline Jolie!

The Salt and Changeling star didn't fail to dazzle the crowd even when she still had the baby bump.


















Sixth, Kristen Bell!

The non-vampire Kristen appeared at the Madrid's premiere of Burlesque donning a black Alberta Ferretti. After browsing through many pictures of the Italian designs, this should be something unusual for Alberta Ferretti. Elegant, but still interesting. Superb!














Last but not least....

I think we can expect a lot for Alberta Ferretti's Fall/Winter Collection in 2011.

A Pre-Collection

Not everybody's familiar with a fashion pre-collection. Many of you might wonder if this stuff actually exists.

Apparently.... It does!

 

Presented by Burberry! See? I wasn't kidding you. 

As a matter of fact, I was rather surprised when I came across an album titled Fall/Winter 2011 Pre-Collection on Burberry's Facebook page. We don't usually encounter this kind of things from fashion labels, since no sane normal fashion designer would want the public to get a peek at his/her works before the due date.

Hmm... I do wonder if any of them will be given the rise as the face of Burberry in 2011.


By the way...

Last year, this Elle-crowned Style Award model participated in Burberry's campaign and appeared in numerous commercials of the fashion label. Her name's Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Yes, you have heard of this name before. We'll be seeing her in cinema when Transformers 3 hits the theatres!

Personally, I don't reckon Burberry has displayed everything in the Fall/ Winter Collection of 2011. They're doing a business. While creating a pre-collection might stir a bit of publicity in the fashion world, dishing out the whole lot too soon would be commercial suicide. The surprise simply dies down by the time other fashion labels are presenting their stuffs during the seasons. Therefore, we can assume that Burberry has some more up to its sleeves.
